Weeping Cherry Cheals Short.
Botanical Name: Prunus kiku shidare sakura Cheals.
Sakura (さくら | 桜) is considered the national flower of Japan, and it is no surprise why. Clusters of double pink flowers appear across the weeping branches in mid-spring across this Cheals variety. Young bronze leaves turn glossy green in summer, turning golden orange and red in autumn.
Approximate Height (Feb '23): 1.2-1.5m.
Plant in well-draining soil in a full sun position.
Best planted in its dormancy during winter to prevent root stress.
