DESCRIPTION

Olive Arbequina - 20cm Pot.

Botanical Name: Olea europea.

A well known Spanish Olive that Is very productive and can fruit in a few years when in ideal conditions. Suitable to grow from Cairns down to Tasmania, this variety has some cold tolerance so can grow well in Victoria. The fruit is black in colour when ripe and is used most in the production of extra virgin oil. For pickling, harvest in Autumn when light green or later when black.

Water immediately after planting. Water well until established, particularly during flowering, fruit set and as the fruit develops.
Plant in Full Sun.
Fertilise with citrus food in spring and autumn. We recommend Harry's Citrus Food.
