Description
Semi Dwarf Golden Delicious.
Medium to large round fruit with yellow-green skin, it has crisp white flesh and is sweet and juicy. Growing to a height of approximately 3 metres at maturity.
A very popular variety with good keeping qualities. Cooks well holding its shape or is lovely eaten fresh. Spreading tree habit, with heavy fruit crops, suitable to grow in most climate conditions.
Suggested Pollinators: Granny Smith, Pink Lady, Red Fuji, Red Delicious, Jonathan.
Plant in a warm, protected area in well-drained soil.
Best planted in winter during dormancy. Make sure you plant the bud union above the soil.
Water in well and keep moist until established.
Fertilise when planting and again when new growth appears. prune when planting.
Almond self-pollinating will grow to 2m high and a width of 2m.
