Introducing LAVINNOVA® Lavandula ‘The King’, the newest addition to the famous LAVINNOVA® Lavandula Royal Collection. ‘The King’ showcases rich purple flowers with extra-large wings (bracts) that cover the entire plant. Blooming from spring with spot flowering in summer and blooming again in autumn, ‘The King’ is a low-maintenance variety that offers months of colour. It is both frost and heat-tolerant, ensuring stunning displays with minimal care. Ideal for low hedges, borders, containers, or mixed landscapes, ‘The King’ brings a vibrant, full-bodied splash of colour to any setting.

Care

 •  Water immediately after planting. Water well until established, particularly during periods of extended heat.
•  Full Sun position
•  Remove spent flower heads to encourage further flora display.
•  Fertilise in late winter for optimum results. Best grown in humus-rich, free-draining soil.
•  Once established, it has low water requirements. It tolerates dry spells but will benefit from deep soakings during extended periods of heat.
