Finger Lime Gold Pearl.

Gold Pearl has an upright, stately posture and produces chubby, plump, light green coloured finger limes, filled with golden yellow citrus pearls. Mild tasting. Growing to around 3 metres, easily pruned and suited to pots and containers. The fruit colour may vary in accordance to climatic region. Originating from the understory, Gold Pearl naturally enjoys a dappled light, although performs best in full sun in a warm protected location. Use the citrus pearls as a delicious garnish for seafood and shellfish. Use the fruit whole or sliced when making tangy marmalades and sauces.

Care

• Plant in a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained soil
• Water regularly during dry periods, especially when fruiting
• Prune in late winter to maintain shape and remove dead or crossing branches
• Protect young trees from frost; established trees tolerate light frosts
• Mulch to retain moisture, keeping mulch away from the trunk
