Finger Lime Little Ruby
Naturally Dwarf - Little Ruby is the smallest of the Citrus Gems Family. A compact growing shrub she is well suited to tub planting. Her chubby finger limes are dark green in colour. Little Ruby’s dainty citrus pearls, are rosy red when the fruit is ripe. The finger limes appear in the autumn, with an occasional guest appearance through other times of the year. Little Ruby performs best in full sun and in a warm, wind free, protected location.
Care
• Plant in a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained soil
• Water regularly during dry periods, especially when fruiting
• Prune in late winter to maintain shape and remove dead or crossing branches
• Protect young trees from frost; established trees tolerate light frosts
• Mulch to retain moisture, keeping mulch away from the trunk
