Description
Lemon ‘Lisbon’ is a classic, high-performing citrus variety known for its sharp, tangy flavour and abundant juice. Producing medium to large fruit with smooth yellow skin, it’s a favourite for cooking, baking and everyday use.
This variety is especially valued for its heavy winter to spring cropping, ensuring a reliable supply of fresh lemons when they’re needed most. The fruit is richly flavoured and juicy, making it ideal for everything from drinks to savoury dishes.
The tree itself is vigorous and upright, with dense, glossy foliage that creates a lush and productive presence in the garden.
Mature size: approximately 8 metres high × 4 metres wide
(can be kept smaller with pruning or grown in large pots)
Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil or quality potting mix for best results.
Water regularly while establishing, and maintain consistent moisture during fruiting for optimal yield.
Feed regularly with a citrus fertiliser, pelletised manure or slow-release fertiliser to support strong growth and heavy crops.
Prune lightly to maintain shape and manage size. Be aware that Lisbon can be thorny, so take care when handling.
This variety is well suited to cooler climates and is tolerant of frost, humidity and coastal conditions once established.

What is your shipping policy?
We ship all* orders via Australia Post using Regular Parcel Post. If you would like to upgrade to Express Post, please contact us for a quote before placing your order.
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days before being dispatched. A second email will follow with your Australia Post tracking number.
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday between 9am and 4:30pm. Delivery can take up to 10 business days, depending on your location.
Need it in a hurry? Call us on (03) 9844 3027 before ordering and we’ll arrange an Express Post upgrade and quote for you.
