Orange Washington Navel Dwarf - 16.5cm Pot

Dwarf Orange ‘Washington Navel’ is one of the most popular citrus varieties, loved for its sweet, seedless fruit and reliable performance. This early maturing tree produces large, round oranges with bright orange skin and juicy, easy-to-peel flesh, perfect for fresh eating straight from the tree.

In spring, clusters of fragrant white blossoms fill the air and attract bees and pollinators, followed by fruit that develops over 6–9 months, ripening from late autumn through winter.

Ideal for containers, tubs and gardens. Grown on dwarfing rootstock.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil for best fruiting.

Water regularly while establishing, then reduce, as it becomes moderately drought tolerant once mature. Supplementary watering during fruit development will improve yield and quality.

Feed with a citrus-specific fertiliser in spring and late summer. Light pruning in late winter or early spring will help maintain shape and encourage healthy growth.

Protect young trees from frost. Monitor for common citrus pests such as scale, leaf miner and gall wasp, and treat if required.
