Rosemary Prostratus - 14cm Pot

Rosemary has long been associated with remembrance and holds particular significance in Australia as a symbol of commemoration.

Prostrate Rosemary brings that same familiar fragrance and usefulness to a very different growth habit. Rather than forming an upright shrub, this low-growing variety develops long, trailing stems that spread across the ground or cascade beautifully over walls, rockeries and the edges of pots.

Its dense woody stems are covered in aromatic, needle-like dark green foliage that releases its distinctive Rosemary fragrance when brushed or crushed. Small pale blue flowers appear along the stems in spring, providing a pretty contrast against the foliage and attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.

The foliage can also be picked throughout the year and used fresh or dried in cooking, making Prostrate Rosemary both an attractive and productive addition to the garden.

It can spread to 2m by 60cm High. 

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in free-draining soil. Prostrate Rosemary is drought tolerant once established but should be watered regularly while young. Avoid consistently wet or waterlogged positions.
Lightly trim as required to encourage dense growth and control its spread. Its trailing habit makes it particularly effective where stems are able to naturally spill over an edge.
