Acacia Green Spire - 33cm Pot

Acacia ‘Green Spire’ is a refined Australian native valued for its soft, lime-green, weeping foliage and naturally neat, upright form. Narrow and architectural, it’s an excellent choice for modern gardens, tight spaces and screening where height is needed without bulk.

This fast-growing wattle provides year-round foliage interest, with fine, cascading leaves that move gently in the breeze and add texture without overpowering surrounding plants. Its upright habit makes it especially useful in narrow garden beds, along fences, or as a repeated feature planting to create rhythm and structure in the landscape.

Like many acacias, Green Spire is relatively short-lived, typically lasting around 10–15 years, but it makes up for this with rapid growth, low water needs and strong visual impact.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. This variety tolerates poor soils but will not tolerate waterlogging. Water regularly while establishing, then reduce, as it is drought tolerant once mature. Light pruning in spring can help maintain shape, but avoid heavy pruning. Apply a low-phosphorus native fertiliser in spring if growth appears weak.
