Acacia Honey Bun - 20cm Pot

Acacia ‘Honey Bun’ is a naturally compact, dense-growing Australian native wattle, perfect for smaller gardens and low-maintenance landscapes. Forming a neat, rounded shrub just over a metre high and wide, this variety is ideal for adding structure without overwhelming the space.

In spring, Honey Bun produces masses of soft lemon-yellow, ball-shaped flowers that bring a gentle burst of colour to the garden while attracting bees, butterflies and beneficial insects. Its fine foliage and tidy growth habit provide year-round greenery, making it a reliable and attractive choice across all seasons.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to light shade in well-drained soil. Honey Bun is adaptable to a range of soil types, including sandy, loamy and clay loams, provided drainage is good. Water regularly while establishing, then reduce, as it becomes drought tolerant once mature.

Light pruning after flowering can help maintain a dense, compact shape if desired. Minimal feeding is required, though a light application of native fertiliser in spring can support healthy growth.
