Acacia Waterfall Standard 1.2m - 30cm Pot

Acacia cognata ‘Waterfall’ PBR (Standard) is a beautifully elegant grafted native, forming a soft, cascading shape that adds movement and texture to the garden. Its fine, flowing foliage drapes gracefully from the grafted head, often reaching the ground and beyond if left untrimmed.

In spring, this variety produces clusters of soft lemon-yellow wattle flowers, adding a gentle burst of colour and seasonal interest. The combination of its weeping form and delicate foliage makes it a standout feature plant for pots, patios and garden beds.

Compact and easy to manage, this grafted form will not grow taller than its graft height, making it ideal for controlled spaces where height needs to be maintained.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. Waterfall performs best in sandy or clay loam soils with a neutral to slightly acidic pH.

Water regularly while establishing, then reduce, as it becomes very drought tolerant once mature. It will also tolerate light frost and suits a range of climates from cool temperate to semi-arid regions.

Fertilise after spring flowering with a native-specific fertiliser to support healthy growth. Minimal pruning is required—light shaping can be done to maintain the desired drape.

Important care note
Remove any shoots that appear below the graft union, as these can overtake the standard form if left unchecked.
