Acer Palmatum Murasaki Kiyohime - 33cm Pot

Acer palmatum ‘Murasaki Kiyohime’ is a compact Japanese Maple prized for its layered growth habit and changing foliage colours throughout the seasons. Perfect for smaller spaces, it forms a low, spreading shape that adds structure without overwhelming the garden.

In spring and summer, the delicate leaves emerge fresh green with soft orange-red tinges, creating a subtle, ever-changing display. As autumn arrives, the foliage transforms into warm orange and yellow tones, delivering a vibrant seasonal finish.

Mature size: approximately 1.5 metres high (in 10 years).

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. In warmer climates, some protection from harsh afternoon sun will help prevent leaf scorch.
