Ficus Carica Figalicious - 33cm Pot

Ficus carica ‘Figalicious’ is a compact, dwarf fig tree bred for abundant fruiting in small spaces. This deciduous variety produces generous crops of sweet, dark red-fleshed figs with attractive purple-green skin through summer and autumn.

Its large, palmate green leaves create a classic Mediterranean look, making Figalicious as ornamental as it is productive. Perfect for modern lifestyles, it thrives in pots, courtyards and smaller gardens, while still delivering full-sized, flavour-packed fruit.

Fresh figs are best picked when deep purple and slightly soft, ideal for eating straight from the tree, pairing with cheeses or using in jams and desserts.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil for best fruit production.

Water regularly while establishing, then reduce, as it becomes drought tolerant once mature. Supplementary watering during fruiting will improve yield and fruit quality. Avoid waterlogged soils.

Prune lightly in winter to encourage new growth and fruiting, and to remove any old or damaged wood. Apply fertiliser in spring and mulch annually to support healthy growth.

Figalicious is frost tolerant once established, making it suitable for a wide range of climates.
