Grevillea New Blood - 14cm Pot

Grevillea ‘New Blood’ is a hardy, low-growing Australian native groundcover known for its vibrant red flowers and long flowering season. Blooming for most of the year, including autumn, winter and spring, it provides consistent colour and a valuable nectar source for birds, bees and pollinators.

With its dense, spreading habit, New Blood forms a neat groundcover that is perfect for rockeries, garden beds, slopes and containers. Its fine foliage and rich red blooms create a striking contrast, making it a standout feature even in smaller spaces.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to light shade in well-drained soil. Grevillea ‘New Blood’ prefers open, airy conditions and performs best in cooler climates, avoid areas with high humidity where possible.

Water regularly during establishment, then reduce, as it becomes drought tolerant once mature. Feed in spring and summer with a low-phosphorus native fertiliser, watering in well to prevent leaf burn.

Minimal pruning is required, though light trimming can help maintain a compact, tidy shape.
