Helichrysum Licorice Plant - 14cm Pot

Helichrysum petiolare, commonly known as the Licorice Plant, is a soft, trailing perennial prized for its silvery-grey foliage and cascading growth habit. Its fine, felted leaves create a beautiful contrast against darker plants, adding lightness and texture to garden beds and containers.

With its naturally spreading and mounding form, Licorice Plant is perfect for groundcover, low edging, hanging baskets and window boxes, where its trailing tendrils can spill gracefully over edges.

In spring to summer, it produces small cream flowers, though it is primarily grown for its striking foliage.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to shade in well-drained soil. Helichrysum petiolare is adaptable but performs best where drainage is good.

Water regularly while establishing, then reduce, allowing soil to dry slightly between watering. Protect from frost, as it is frost-sensitive.

Light pruning in spring will help maintain a compact shape and encourage fresh, bushy growth.
