Description
Hydrangea Blue Ball.
Botanical Name: Hydrangea macrophylla.
Hydrangeas are one of the classic flowering shrubs of summer. They are deciduous shrubs that do best in a moist position sheltered from the hot sun and wind. Blue hydrangeas will retain their colour in acidic soil. A twice-yearly application of soil acidifier with help ensure this.
