Lemon ‘Pinky’, often called Pink Lemon, is a striking and unusual citrus variety prized for both its ornamental beauty and its delicious fruit. A form of the classic Eureka lemon, Pinky produces sharp, juicy, full-flavoured lemons with an unexpected surprise inside — beautifully rosy pink flesh.
The fruit is largely seedless and delivers the bright, tangy flavour you expect from a Eureka lemon, making it ideal for cooking, baking, drinks and preserves. Harvested fresh from the tree, Pinky lemons offer both flavour and visual appeal, earning their reputation as “a lemon with a pink heart”.
Beyond the fruit, Lemon Pinky is an exceptional garden specimen. The tree features stunning variegated foliage with stripes and splashes of cream, light and dark green, and soft pink tones in the new growth. Even when not in fruit, it brings year-round colour and interest to the garden.
Naturally compact and attractive, Lemon Pinky grows to around 3–4 metres and is well suited to garden planting or growing in large pots and containers.
Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil for best growth and fruiting. Water regularly while establishing and during flowering and fruit development. Feed with a citrus-specific fertiliser during the growing season to support healthy foliage and fruit production. Container-grown plants benefit from consistent watering and good drainage.
