Scaevola Purple Fusion - 14cm Pot

Scaevola ‘Purple Fusion™’ is a tough, low-growing native groundcover designed for maximum coverage with minimal maintenance. Unlike traditional scaevola varieties, this improved form grows flat rather than mounding, creating a dense, spreading carpet that is ideal for larger areas and landscape use.

Flowering for most of the year, Purple Fusion™ produces masses of vibrant purple fan-shaped flowers, with peak colour from spring through early summer (September–December). Its long flowering season and hardy nature make it a standout for adding consistent colour to the garden.

Highly drought tolerant and easy to manage, this variety requires less trimming than older forms, making it perfect for low-maintenance planting schemes.

Mature size: approximately 20cm high × up to 1.5 metres wide

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to light shade in well-drained soil. Purple Fusion™ is adaptable to a wide range of soil types and performs well in both garden beds and larger landscape areas.

Water regularly for the first 8–13 weeks to establish, then reduce, as it becomes drought tolerant once mature. It will tolerate cold conditions, though heavy frost may temporarily reduce flowering.

Apply a slow-release fertiliser in spring if needed, and lightly trim once a year to maintain a tidy, even spread.
