Westringia Jervis Gem - 20cm Pot

Westringia fruticosa ‘Jervis Gem’, commonly known as Coastal Rosemary, is a compact, evergreen native shrub valued for its soft grey-green foliage and year-round structure. Lightly dotted with mauve flowers for most of the year, it adds subtle colour while maintaining a clean, tidy appearance.

With its naturally dense, mounded habit, Jervis Gem is ideal for formal hedging, screening, topiary or feature planting, while also performing beautifully in pots and containers. Its fine foliage and neat growth make it a favourite for both modern and classic garden styles.

Exceptionally hardy, this variety thrives in coastal conditions, tolerating salt spray, wind and a wide range of soil types with ease.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to light shade in well-drained soil. Jervis Gem is highly adaptable and will grow in sandy, loamy or clay soils, as well as poorer conditions, provided drainage is adequate.

Water regularly while establishing, then reduce, as it becomes drought tolerant once mature. It will also tolerate light frost and exposed coastal conditions.

Prune as needed to maintain shape. This variety responds well to regular trimming, making it ideal for hedging and topiary. Apply a slow-release fertiliser in spring if required.
