David Austin Rose Vanessa Bell.
Botanical Name: (Auseasel)(PBR) English Shrub Rose.
Pink-tinged buds open to mediumsized cups held in large clusters. Pale yellow, paling to white at the edges; each has a rich yellow eye. The fragrance is similar to green tea with aspects of lemon and honey. It forms a bushy, upright shrub. Named for the artist, designer and founder member of the Bloomsbury Group – sister of the writer, Virginia Woolf. David Austin, 2017.
Care
• Water immediately after planting. Water well until established, particularly during periods of extended heat.
• Plant in Full Sun.
• Remove spent blooms. Prune back by one-third in winter, removing old and damaged wood. Shorten stems to a healthy bud to promote strong growth.
• Fertilise every Late winter to the end of autumn every 3-4 months. We recommend Harry's Rose Food.
