David Austin Rose Wollerton Old Hall.
Botanical Name: (Ausblanket) English Climbing Rose.
A wonderfully fragrant climber – its strong, warm myrrh fragrance has intense hints of citrus. The buds have attractive flashes of red, open to beautifully rounded, chalice-shaped blooms of pale apricot, eventually paling to cream. Named for one of the most beautiful private gardens in the country. This medium climber can grow approximately 3-4m tall.
Care
• Water immediately after planting. Water well until established, particularly during periods of extended heat.
• Plant in Full Sun.
• Remove spent blooms. Prune back by one-third in winter, removing old and damaged wood. Shorten stems to a healthy bud to promote strong growth.
• Fertilise every Late winter to the end of autumn every 3-4 months. We recommend Harry's Rose Food.
