Grevillea GR58 Red Coral - 20cm Pot

Grevillea ‘Red Coral’ is an attractive prostrate Grevillea with a naturally dense, spreading habit that makes an excellent Australian native groundcover. Bright red toothbrush flowers provide a striking contrast against its grey-green, fern-like foliage and pale stems.

Flowering in spring, the nectar-rich blooms attract birds, bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects. Its broad, ground-hugging growth can form a dense mat, helping to cover open soil and suppress weeds while providing year-round foliage interest.

Fast growing, drought tolerant once established and tolerant of light frost, ‘Red Coral’ is a useful choice for native gardens, rockeries, slopes and larger areas requiring a low-growing spreading plant.

Mature size: approximately 40 to 50cm high × 2 to 3 metres wide

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing, then provide supplementary water during extended dry periods. Lightly tip prune after flowering to encourage denser growth and maintain its groundcover habit. Feed lightly with a low-phosphorus native fertiliser if required.
