Description
Acer platanoides Crimson Sentry.
Commonly known as the Norway Maple, this is a beautifully dense, upright tree with young foliage that is crimson in colour and then matures to deep maroon during the summer months. It has a narrow canopy making it an ideal tree for narrow areas and smaller gardens.
Water immediately after planting. Water well until established, particularly during periods of extended heat.
Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level.
Plant in Full Sun to part shade.
It can grow to H8 x W4m in ideal conditions.
