Acer Emperor 1.
Botanical Name: Acer palmatum.
An upright Japanese Maple with a wide crown. It produces delicate and deeply lobed foliage that is deep red during spring and then an intense crimson colour in autumn. A perfect tree for smaller gardens, specimen planting and as a contrast against green plantings.
Plant in well-draining soil in full sun to a partly shaded position.
