Anigozanthus Bush Inferno - 14cm Pot

Anigozanthos ‘Bush Inferno’ is a hardy Kangaroo Paw producing striking sprays of fiery red, velvety paw-shaped flowers held on tall stems above its strappy green foliage. Flowering from late winter through spring and into summer, it provides a long season of bold colour in sunny garden spaces.
The flower stems can reach around 1 metre tall, creating plenty of impact above the lower clumping foliage. Its strong, upright form looks particularly effective planted in groups, where the foliage provides structure and the flowers create a mass of vivid red.

‘Bush Inferno’ is considered one of the hardier Kangaroo Paw varieties and performs well where excellent drainage and plenty of sun are provided. Both the flowers and foliage can also be picked for cut flower arrangements.

Mature foliage size: approximately 60cm high × 50cm wide, with flower stems reaching approximately 1 metre tall.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Good drainage is particularly important for Kangaroo Paws, especially through Melbourne’s cooler, wetter months.
Water regularly while establishing and during extended dry periods. Once established, ‘Bush Inferno’ has good drought tolerance. Remove spent flower stems as they finish to keep the plant tidy and encourage healthy new growth.
Protect from significant frost, particularly in colder or frost-prone positions.
