Banksia High Noon - 33cm Pot

Banksia ‘High Noon’ is a mid-sized Australian native shrub producing striking, long cylindrical yellow flower spikes from autumn through winter. The bold flowers stand out beautifully against the foliage, bringing welcome colour and interest to the garden through the cooler months.

Hardy and relatively low maintenance, ‘High Noon’ tolerates coastal conditions, including salt-laden winds, as well as light frost once established. Its substantial growth habit makes it an excellent feature shrub, while it can also be used for informal hedging or as part of a windbreak.

Drought tolerant once established and well suited to Australian conditions, this Banksia is a practical choice for native, coastal and low-maintenance gardens.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in light, well-drained soil, avoiding heavy clay and waterlogged positions.
Water regularly while establishing, then provide supplementary water during extended dry periods.
Lightly prune after flowering to maintain shape, avoiding heavy pruning into older wood.
Feed with a low-phosphorus native fertiliser after flowering and apply mulch annually, keeping it clear of the main stem.
