Bush Rose Dusky Moon - 20cm Pot

Australian-bred 'Dusky Moon' is a beautiful shrub rose prized for its romantic mauve blooms, exceptional fragrance and reliable garden performance. The fully double, cupped flowers are a soft dusky purple with a contrasting white eye and pale reverse, creating a delicate two-tone effect. Flowering continuously from late spring through to autumn, this variety brings months of colour and perfume to Melbourne and south-east Victorian gardens.

The intensely fragrant blooms are borne in generous clusters on graceful arching canes, making this rose a standout feature in cottage gardens and mixed borders. Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Water deeply during dry periods, particularly while establishing. Feed with a quality rose fertiliser in late August, then after each main flush of flowers throughout the growing season. Apply organic mulch in spring to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Remove spent flowers regularly to encourage continuous blooming and prune in July to maintain a healthy, well-shaped shrub. Its excellent disease resistance means it generally requires minimal maintenance.
