Calathea Lancifolia.
Calathea lancifolia, also known as the rattlesnake plant, has long rippled-shaped leaves marked with a wild green pattern on their upper side and deep purple underneath. It is part of the family known as prayer plants, which are named for their tendency to fold up their leaves at night, resembling praying hands, and then unfold them in the morning to catch the day's sun.
The plant pictured is just an example, each plant may vary slightly. We will always choose the happiest and healthiest specimen for you.
Position in a brightly lit spot but not direct sun.
It can tolrate lower light conditions, but its leaves will turn darker.
Make sure not to let its soil dry out and give it lots of humidity. If you have a bright bathroom it will be extremely happy there.
Fertilise during spring and summer with a liquid fertiliser for indoor plants.
