Plant Camellia ‘Buttons & Bows’ in full sun to part shade. Best results are generally achieved in a lightly shaded position protected from strong winds and hot afternoon sun.

Prefers fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Slightly acidic soil conditions are ideal for healthy growth and flowering.

Water regularly during establishment and maintain consistent soil moisture, particularly during dry periods. Avoid waterlogged conditions.

Apply a quality fertiliser suitable for camellias in spring after flowering and again in mid to late summer if required.

Mulch with a 5cm layer of quality organic mulch to help conserve moisture and improve soil health, keeping mulch clear of the trunk.
