Botanical Name: Cercis canadensis.

A compact rounded, deciduous tree with spectacular masses of rosy-pink flowers during spring. The foliage is heart-shaped, emerges purple and matures to bronze-red. A wonderful, small specimen tree with year-round interest. Suitable for large containers.

Grow in moist, rich, well-drained soil.
Benefits from deep watering during dry weather and an autumn application of lime.
Prune lightly after flowering or to the desired shape in winter.
Mulch well.
