Clematis Crystal Fountain - 20cm Pot

Clematis ‘Crystal Fountain™’ is a showy deciduous climber producing large mauve-lavender flowers with prominent white anthers. The impressive blooms measure approximately 10 to 15cm across, creating plenty of impact over an extended flowering period from spring through to autumn.

With a moderate climbing habit reaching around 1.5 to 2 metres, ‘Crystal Fountain™’ is well suited to smaller garden spaces, trellises and fences where its distinctive flowers can be appreciated up close.
‘Crystal Fountain™’ belongs to Clematis Pruning Group 2, meaning it flowers on both old and new growth. Avoid hard pruning in winter, as this can remove stems carrying the first flowers of the season.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soil. Keep the root zone cool and evenly moist during warmer weather while avoiding waterlogged conditions. Provide a trellis, fence or other suitable structure for the stems to climb.

As a Group 2 Clematis, prune lightly. In late winter to early spring, remove dead or weak growth and trim healthy stems back to strong buds. Light pruning after the first flowering flush can help encourage fresh growth and further flowering.
