Climbing Rose Zepherine Drouhin - 20cm Pot

‘Zephirine Drouhin’ is one of the world's most treasured heritage climbing roses, admired for its large, semi-double blooms in a rich, non-fading rose pink. Flowering repeatedly throughout the season, the elegant blooms bring timeless charm to walls, arches, pergolas and trellises.

One of the variety's most distinctive features is its near thornless canes, making it easier to train and maintain than many traditional climbers. It is also notable for its ability to perform well in light shade, offering an excellent option for gardens that don't receive full sun all day.

The flowers are richly perfumed with a classic old rose fragrance, layered with sweet damask and raspberry notes. Vigorous growth and light green semi-glossy foliage complete this much-loved heritage variety.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to light shade in fertile, well-drained soil and provide a sturdy support such as a wall, arch, pillar or trellis. Water deeply while establishing and during extended dry periods. Feed in late August and again after each main flowering flush. Train the main canes horizontally where possible to encourage more flowering shoots. As a repeat-flowering climber, prune in July, or August in colder and frost-prone areas, removing older unproductive canes while retaining vigorous new growth. Remove fallen leaves and monitor for common rose pests and diseases.
