Convolvulus Purple Rippled Moon - 14cm Pot

Convolvulus ‘Rippled Moon Purple’ is a compact, trailing groundcover that produces masses of vibrant purple, open-faced flowers from late spring through to early autumn. Its long flowering season makes it a great choice for bringing colour to sunny garden beds and containers through the warmer months.

Bred in Australia for Australian conditions, ‘Rippled Moon Purple’ develops a very dense, low-growing form with stems that spread and cascade as they grow. This makes it particularly effective spilling over retaining walls, rockeries, steep sites and the edges of pots or hanging baskets.

Hardy, dry tolerant and requiring little maintenance once established, it can also be mass planted as a colourful groundcover. The flowers are popular with pollinators and the plant is suitable for coastal gardens.

Care & Growing Tips

Plant in full sun to part shade. Water when dry for the first six weeks after planting and during extended dry weather. Once established, it is dry tolerant. Avoid positions that remain wet for prolonged periods.

Little to no pruning is generally required. Apply a slow-release fertiliser in spring to support healthy growth and flowering.
