Correa Alba - 14cm Pot

Correa alba is a hardy Australian native shrub with soft green foliage and small white flowers from late autumn through winter. Its naturally rounded evergreen habit provides year-round structure, while the flowers bring subtle colour and attract nectar-feeding birds and other beneficial wildlife through the cooler months.

Particularly well suited to coastal gardens, White Correa tolerates sandy soils and salt-laden winds once established. It responds very well to pruning, allowing it to be kept as a neat informal shrub or shaped more formally for low hedging and borders.

Adaptable, drought tolerant and easy to maintain, it performs best in full sun but will also grow in part shade, although flowering may be reduced.

Mature size: approximately 1 to 1.5 metres high × 1 to 1.5 metres wide

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil.
Water regularly while establishing, then provide supplementary water during extended dry periods.
Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage dense growth.
Feed lightly with a low-phosphorus native fertiliser if required.
