Correa Little Cate - 20cm Pot

Correa ‘Little Cate’ is a compact Australian native shrub with a naturally dense, mounding habit and masses of pretty pink bell-shaped flowers from winter through spring.

The pendant blooms provide welcome colour through the cooler months and are particularly attractive to small nectar-feeding birds, bees and other beneficial insects. Its neat evergreen foliage provides year-round structure, making ‘Little Cate’ an easy addition to garden beds, borders and decorative pots.

One of its strengths is its versatility with light. ‘Little Cate’ performs particularly well in partly shaded positions and can still flower in shade, while also tolerating sunnier locations. Hardy and frost tolerant, it is a useful choice for cooler Victorian gardens.

Mature size: approximately 40 to 60cm high × 50cm to 1 metre wide

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in part shade to light shade in well-drained soil.
It will also tolerate more sun where conditions are suitable.
Water regularly while establishing and during extended dry periods.
Lightly prune after flowering to encourage a denser, more compact habit.
Feed lightly with a low-phosphorus native fertiliser if required.
