Daphne ‘Perfume Princess® White’ is a stunning evergreen shrub, celebrated for its exceptionally large, pure white flowers and outstanding fragrance. An improved form of the award-winning Perfume Princess series, it produces blooms up to four times larger than traditional Daphne odora, filling the garden with a sweet citrus perfume from winter through to spring. The pristine white flowers are borne all along the stems, creating an abundance of colour and fragrance throughout the cooler months.

Featuring lush, deep green foliage that remains fresh year-round, ‘Perfume Princess® White’ also offers improved sun tolerance compared to traditional daphnes. Its naturally compact habit makes it an ideal choice for planting near entrances, patios and pathways where its beautiful fragrance can be enjoyed every day.

Care & Growing Tips

Plant in full sun to part shade in a sheltered position with slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing and during extended dry periods, but avoid waterlogged conditions. Feed in early autumn and spring with a slow-release fertiliser suitable for daphnes or flowering shrubs. Lightly prune after flowering to maintain shape and remove damaged growth. Apply mulch to keep roots cool, ensuring it is kept clear of the stem.
