David Austin Bush Rose Heritage - 20cm Pot

(Ausblush) English Shrub Rose.

Rose ‘Heritage’ is a classic David Austin English Shrub Rose, producing beautifully formed, soft pink blooms with a delicate, shell-like appearance. Introduced in 1984, its cupped flowers have an elegant old-fashioned character and are produced repeatedly throughout the flowering season.
Fragrance is one of its standout features, with a wonderful myrrh scent complemented by notes of fruit, honey and carnation. The softly coloured flowers sit beautifully amongst the bushy growth, making ‘Heritage’ an excellent choice where both fragrance and classic rose form are important.
It develops into a large, well-rounded shrub with plenty of presence, making it particularly effective towards the middle or back of a garden border.

Mature size: approximately 1.75–2.25 metres high × 1–1.5 metres wide

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Water deeply while establishing and during extended dry periods. Feed established roses in late August and again after the main flowering flushes. Mulch in spring to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
Deadhead regularly to encourage repeat flowering. As an English shrub rose, prune more lightly than a Hybrid Tea or Floribunda, focusing on removing dead, damaged or weak growth and maintaining its naturally rounded framework. Prune in July, or August in colder and frost-prone areas. Remove fallen leaves from around the base and monitor for common rose pests and diseases.
