David Austin Rose The Lady Gardener.
Botanical Name: (Ausbrass)(PBR) English Shrub Rose Bred.
Bears large, quartered rosettes, each about 4” across, packed with loosely arranged petals. They are a beautiful shade of pure apricot, paling towards the edges. There is a lovely Tea fragrance, with hints of cedar wood and vanilla. Named for Plant Heritage, who do so much to protect Britain’s garden plant diversity. David Austin, 2013.
Care
• Water immediately after planting. Water well until established, particularly during periods of extended heat.
• Plant in Full Sun.
• Remove spent blooms. Prune back by one-third in winter, removing old and damaged wood. Shorten stems to a healthy bud to promote strong growth.
• Fertilise every Late winter to the end of autumn every 3-4 months. We recommend Harry's Rose Food.
