Dreameria Vivid Dreams - 14cm Pot

Dreameria® ‘Vivid Dreams’ is a compact, long-flowering Armeria with masses of vivid purple, globe-shaped flowers held above a neat mound of evergreen foliage. One of the earliest varieties to provide strong spring colour, its main flowering flush occurs in spring.

The sturdy upright flower stems contrast beautifully with the low foliage, making ‘Vivid Dreams’ particularly effective along the front of garden beds, as low edging or planted in groups for a larger display. Its compact habit also makes it an excellent choice for decorative pots and rockeries.

Once established, ‘Vivid Dreams’ is tolerant of dry conditions, frost and wind, and is well suited to coastal gardens. The flowers also have good vase life and can be picked for indoor arrangements.

Mature size: approximately 15 to 30cm high × 40 to 50cm wide

Care & Growing Tips

Plant in full sun. Water regularly while establishing, after which it has low to moderate water requirements and tolerates dry periods. Give plants a deep soak during extended dry weather. Remove spent flower heads to encourage further flowering and apply fertiliser in late winter for best results.
