Eucalyptus Landsdowneana Purple Patch - 50cm Pot

Eucalyptus ‘Purple Patch™’ is a striking Australian native tree prized for its unusual clusters of rich purple flowers. Blooming through winter and spring, the colourful flowers stand out beautifully against its small green to grey-green foliage and are particularly attractive to nectar-feeding birds.

Developing into a small to medium, clear-trunked tree with a semi-weeping habit, ‘Purple Patch™’ is a useful Eucalyptus for gardens where a larger gum tree would be unsuitable. Its combination of manageable size, distinctive flowers and attractive foliage makes it an eye-catching feature for gardens, streetscapes and parkland planting.

Hardy and adaptable, it performs across climates ranging from cool temperate to subtropical and is highly frost tolerant. It can also be grown in suitable coastal and inland locations.
