Frangipani Obtusa also known as Singapore White, is a charming dwarf tree featuring glossy dark green foliage and beautifully fragrant white flowers with a soft yellow centre.
Frangipanis love warmth and sunshine. In Melbourne’s cooler climate, they’re best grown in a pot so they can be moved with the seasons. Position your frangipani in a warm, sunny spot during the warmer months, ideally against a north- or west-facing brick wall where reflected heat helps encourage growth and flowering. As temperatures drop, move the pot to a sheltered, frost-free position for winter, such as a greenhouse, sunroom, or protected patio. Avoid cold, wet conditions and water sparingly over winter while the plant is dormant.
