Hals Professional Native Potting Mix 30L

HALS Professional Native Growing Mix is a specific blend of premium horticultural potting media with a low phosphorus level making it perfect for Australian Native plants that are sensitive to phosphorus. Whilst specially designed for Australian Native plants this mix can also be safely used for other plant types. The blend includes coir fibre for natural water retention, a 6 month low phosphorus controlled release fertiliser and wetting agent to help the growing mix evenly wet and avoid becoming hydrophobic. HALS Professional Native Growing Mix meets the highest levels of quality which is why it is proudly certified to meet the Premium Red Tick Australian Standards AS3743.

Directions for Use

HALS Professional Native Growing Mix can be used in pots as well as for in ground planting. Use as much as required for the job. Once the plant is in the ground or pot, firmly press down around the plant and apply more mix if required. Thoroughly water in after potting or planting. HALS Professional Native Growing Mix has controlled release fertiliser for the first 6 months, after that time or if the plant needs it, add a native or other low phosphorus fertiliser. Plant Care Re-pot plants as needed, generally every 12 months until they reach a stable size. Check that plant roots are not protruding from the base of the pot, as this is a good indicator that the plants need to be re-potted.
