Hardenbergia White Out - 20cm Pot

Hardenbergia ‘White Out’ is a vigorous Australian native climber, prized for its masses of pure white pea-shaped flowers that brighten the garden from mid winter through to mid spring. A beautiful white-flowering form of the much-loved ‘Happy Wanderer’, this evergreen variety combines rapid growth with lush lime green foliage, making it an excellent choice for covering fences, pergolas and trellises. Tough, low maintenance and well suited to Melbourne and south-east Victorian gardens, it provides year-round greenery with a spectacular seasonal display.

Delicate sprays of crisp white flowers are produced in abundance throughout the cooler months, standing out beautifully against the fresh green foliage. Care & Growing Tips
Plant in a full sun to part shade position. In Melbourne, flowering is generally heaviest in full sun, although plants will tolerate light afternoon shade.

Prefers well-drained soil and adapts to a wide range of soil types provided drainage is good.

Water regularly during establishment and continue to water during extended dry periods, particularly through Melbourne's hot summer months, to maintain healthy growth and flowering.

Feed in spring and again in late summer with a controlled slow-release fertiliser suitable for Australian native plants.

Prune after flowering to encourage fresh, vigorous growth and maintain a dense, tidy habit. Regular pruning also promotes better flowering in the following season.

Light frost tolerant once established and well suited to Melbourne's temperate climate.
