Crepe Myrtle ‘Biloxi’ (Lagerstroemia indica ‘Biloxi’) is a refined, small deciduous tree admired for its elegant shape, long flowering season and striking seasonal interest. It forms an upright, vase-shaped canopy, making it an excellent ornamental feature for gardens, parks and spacious landscapes.

From mid-summer through to early autumn, Biloxi produces masses of soft pale pink flowers held above the foliage, providing colour when many other trees have finished flowering. As the seasons change, the green leaves transform into rich tones of yellow, orange and red, extending its appeal well into autumn. In winter as the leaves fall away, the smooth, patterned bark becomes a standout feature, adding structure and interest year-round.

This variety is mildew resistant and performs reliably in Australian conditions. Its moderate size and graceful habit make it suitable for planting in large garden beds, as a standalone feature tree, or grown successfully in pots and tubs with adequate space.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil for best flowering and autumn colour. Choose a position protected from hot, dry winds where possible. Mulch well to suppress weeds and retain soil moisture, and apply fertiliser in spring to support healthy growth. Prune as required to maintain shape and structure.

Ideal for
– Feature trees in gardens and parks
– Large garden beds and open landscapes
– Pots and tubs
– Summer flowering and autumn colour
– Low-disease ornamental plantings
