Lavender Lavish Blue - 15cm Pot

Lavender ‘Lavish™ Blue’ is a compact Spanish Lavender with an abundance of uniquely winged flower heads and highly fragrant foliage. Unlike traditional Spanish lavenders, the flowers feature decorative wings all the way down each bloom, creating a fuller, more colourful display. Its mauve blue flowers and naturally compact habit make it an eye-catching addition to Melbourne and south-east Victorian gardens.

Flowering generously over the warmer months, ‘Lavish™ Blue’ produces masses of blooms that attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. As the plant matures, flowering becomes even more prolific, providing long-lasting colour and fragrance in garden beds, borders and decorative containers.

Hardy, drought tolerant and easy to grow, this versatile lavender is equally suited to Mediterranean-style, coastal and waterwise gardens, where it performs beautifully as a low hedge or mass planting.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Avoid heavy or waterlogged soils and improve drainage with raised beds if required.
Water regularly during establishment, then only during extended dry periods.
Apply a quality general-purpose fertiliser in spring and lightly trim after flowering to maintain a compact, bushy shape and encourage repeat blooms.
Mulch to conserve moisture, keeping it clear of the base of the plant.
