Leucadendron Fireglow - 14cm Pot

Leucadendron ‘Fireglow’ is a compact, evergreen shrub prized for its brilliant seasonal colour and architectural form. During the cooler months, its foliage and colourful bracts transform into vibrant shades of crimson, scarlet and burgundy, creating a striking display when many other plants are dormant.

Its naturally dense, spreading habit makes it an excellent choice for low-maintenance gardens, borders and decorative pots. The long-lasting, colourful stems are also highly valued by florists, making ‘Fireglow’ just as rewarding in floral arrangements as it is in the garden.

Drought tolerant once established and well suited to Australian conditions, ‘Fireglow’ thrives in sunny positions with excellent drainage.

Mature size: approximately 50cm high × 1 metre wide

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in free-draining, slightly acidic soil. Water regularly during establishment, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings.
Once established, water only during extended dry periods.
Feed lightly with a low-phosphorus fertiliser formulated for Proteaceae if required.
Lightly prune after flowering or once the colourful bracts fade to maintain a dense, bushy habit. Avoid cutting into old bare wood.
