Leucadendron Summer Sun - 14cm Pot

Leucadendron ‘Summer Sun’ is a vibrant evergreen hybrid prized for its glowing golden-yellow to apricot bracts and outstanding garden performance. Flowering from winter through spring, it brings a welcome burst of colour when many other plants are still dormant, creating a striking contrast against its deep green foliage.

Its naturally upright, well-branched habit makes it an excellent feature shrub for native-inspired, Mediterranean and contemporary gardens. The long-lasting colourful stems are also highly sought after by florists, making ‘Summer Sun’ equally at home in the garden or the vase.

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in free-draining, slightly acidic soil. Water regularly during establishment, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings.
Once established, water only during extended dry periods.
Feed lightly with a low-phosphorus fertiliser formulated for Proteaceae if required.
Lightly prune after flowering or once the colourful bracts fade to maintain a dense, bushy habit. Avoid cutting into old bare wood.
