Limello Australian Lime is a distinctive citrus variety with a unique heritage, long trialled in Australian orchards and now available for home gardens. This vigorous, productive tree naturally develops a rounded, balanced shape, growing to around 4 metres high and wide, making it both attractive and practical as a garden specimen.
The fruit is where Limello truly stands apart. Almost seedless and exceptionally juicy, the fruit has a thin, fragrant rind and a mild, sweet lime flavour with a gentle lemony finish. Low in acidity and beautifully balanced, Limello is not sharp or overpowering, making it an ideal citrus for everyday use. The fruit is often slightly squarish in shape and produced in generous quantities once the tree is established.
Limello is a superb juicing citrus and shines as a subtle flavour enhancer rather than a dominant ingredient. It’s perfect for squeezing over salads, seafood and fruit, or adding freshness to drinks and dressings without overwhelming other flavours.
Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil for best growth and fruiting. Water regularly while establishing and during flowering and fruit development. Feed with a quality citrus fertiliser through the growing season to support healthy foliage and heavy yields. Its naturally rounded form requires minimal shaping.

What is your shipping policy?
We ship all* orders via Australia Post using Regular Parcel Post. If you would like to upgrade to Express Post, please contact us for a quote before placing your order.
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days before being dispatched. A second email will follow with your Australia Post tracking number.
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday between 9am and 4:30pm. Delivery can take up to 10 business days, depending on your location.
Need it in a hurry? Call us on (03) 9844 3027 before ordering and we’ll arrange an Express Post upgrade and quote for you.
