Philotheca Flower Girl - 14cm Pot

Philotheca ‘Flower Girl’ is a hardy, compact Australian native shrub with aromatic evergreen foliage and a long display of delicate flowers from late winter through spring. The white flowers have an attractive pinkish tinge, adding soft colour to the garden during the cooler months.

Naturally forming a rounded, mound-shaped shrub, ‘Flower Girl’ is adaptable to a wide range of garden conditions. Its manageable size makes it equally useful through mixed shrub borders, native gardens and cottage-style planting, or as a feature in a large pot.
The flowering stems can also be picked for arrangements, while the flowers attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects.

Mature size: approximately 1–1.5 metres high × 1–1.5 metres wide

Care & Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. ‘Flower Girl’ adapts to a range of soil types and tolerates poorer soils, provided drainage is adequate.
Water regularly while establishing. Once established, it is relatively drought tolerant and can tolerate light frost. Light pruning after flowering can be used to maintain a compact, dense shape.
